Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Packaging

Rapidly growing life sciences company seeks a Project Manager to lead packaging projects for clinical trials customers.  This company works closely with pharmaceutical companies to manage clinical trials materials, packaging, labeling, shipping and distribution.   The Project Manager will manage multiple projects with short timelines.  All candidates should have working knowledge of the clinical trial process from early to late stage and the ability to work on tight timelines and manage projects with quick turn arounds.  The company provides services and products to clinical trials customers.  The Project Manager will:
  • Manage  up to 10 multiple customer projects simultaneously.
  • Generate project proposals
  • Project development and execution which includes scoping, developing budgets and timelines, schedules, allocation of resources and equipment
  • Work closely with internal team members and clients to execute projects from concept through completion
  • Establish a communication schedule to update appropriate staff, leadership and customers
  • Provide clinical trials management guidance which will include labeling, import, export, kit randomization and distribution / shipping requirements
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably life sciences or engineering or other scientific discipline
  • 7+ years experience in life sciences ie. pharmaceutical packaging operations, with broad based knowledge of clinical trials operations
  • Pharmaceutical packaging, labeling and shipping experience required
  • A track record of accomplishment in full life cycle project  management including scheduling, managing resources and budgets
  • The ability to manage multiple competing projects on tight timelines
  • Excellent communications skills; oral, written and electronic
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building
  • Strong process orientation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems.
